WELCOME TO AVIT

a gift-giving system for good-hearted people who see the good in people.

“It takes a village and no one is above that.”

Upcoming Campaigns (2022 & 2023)

  • We did a trial run last year raising over $400 for a local teenager who aged out of the foster care system.

This year, we are back and planning something monumental for the holidays. These kids don’t need lotion or more blankets. They need laptops for school. They need drivers education. They need money for high-end self-care and hygiene like professional braiding.

    That’s where we come in!

  • This project is still in the the drafting phase and may take more time the others.

However [if/when] a success, this campaign could very well be what changes “the system.” Due to its complexity and legalities, we won’t be introducing this one til 2023.

Anyway, your generosity and support is always appreciated. The goodness in your heart is seen here. Thank you for your role in “all of this.”

Past Campaigns (2022)

  • This week, TikTok’s Brittany Jade, shed light on a topic we are quite passionate about around here: child loss. While she was distasteful in making a mockery of child loss and sibling bereavement for the sake of a social media trend, we are choosing to make good of it.

If you are here to be hateful, that’s fine. Just be sure to leave your hateful note along with your donation. I mean, why not turn that anger into something valuable for those who are genuinely hurt?

That said, we will be gifting as many families as we can who are grieving the loss of a child.

To nominate a family that you think would benefit from this gift, please do so down below.

We will select as many families as we can. We thank you, tremendously, for your heart and generosity.

    DONATION DETAILS:

    OPEN DATE: 09/02/2022

    DATE CLOSED: 09/29/2022

    UPDATE AS OF 10/18/2022:

Thank you, again, for your generosity. If you donated, you should have already received an email with an intimate letter from me regarding the family chosen. If you did not donate but did share our campaign on socials: thank you! We delivered $2,885 to Jeff and Lauren in honor of Baby Liam and boy did they deserve every penny. It takes a village and we are so grateful you’re in this one. This is how we get shit done. Cheers to you and God Bless!

  • Click here to watch a short video explaining “Letters of Hope.” We have successfully delivered the book of letters and our sis in treatment has given me permission to tell each one of you that she is thankful and is doing GREAT so far!

AVIT, an acronym for “a village, it takes” is a social media fundraising movement housed under the umbrella of The Unclothed. Founded and co-founded by Rachel and Annie at The Unclothed,

AVIT’s primary mission is to pool money to gift families/people who have extraordinary financial needs. You know, the one’s who are praying to catch a break.

Sadly, we live in a world where many of our brothers and sisters are struggling not just financially- but mentally- and feel like they have no one to help.

If you follow us on TikTok, you know that we are loud advocates for any and all humans we believe are being taken advantage of; specifically children and teens who are most vulnerable.

We’ve witnessed first-hand what generosity from strangers (coughcough, the village) can do to impact someone’s life for the greater good. So, we want in.

While our wish is to help as many demographics as we can over time, we have a few “especially vulnerable” groups that we’d like to start with.

As a licensed foster Mother, Rachel provides and cares for children of all ages who suffer from severe trauma, neglect, and/or abuse. When placement isn’t possible, Rachel ensures the ones she reaches knows they have a safe place. When children are placed with Rachel and her husband, they not only provide care for the children but do everything they can to support the biological parents as they do whatever is needed to re-gain custody of their child(ren).

While there are tons of charities out there that help kids in the system, many of them provide the bare minimum. Toiletrees. Gifts at the holidays. But none of those things gets them to work. None of those things provide daycare. None of those things help keep a roof over their head. None of those things aid in obtaining a desired education. So that is what we will do.

Another demographic that desperately needs a village is the “vax injured family.”

How do we know this? Because Annie’s daughter was severely inured after receiving a dose of a “mandatory vaccine” around 18-months old. Annie empathizes with parents and caretakers of children who were (and continue to be) harmed by these unnecessary injections and will do whatever it takes to ensure justice is served and families are equipped with the tools needed to protect their families.

We understand the financial burden these things put on people (think therapy, treatments, travel to and from, time off work, attorney fees, etc).

So, while the rest of them judge, we want to help. We want to be a part of their village. But, to do that, we need you.

Let’s leave humanity a little better than we found it, shall we?

BE A RAY

Around here, it’s believed that the sun is the most significant God-provided-source of energy needed to recharge the spirit. The sun symbolically represents our truest self. That is why we perceive each one of you (our donors) as a literal ray-of-sunshine.

By supporting AVIT and our mission, you automatically become a part of something powerful. For that, we thank you.
