A Note From Rachel

Hey you! welcome to
the unclothed

My name is Rachel and I created this space hoping to cultivate refreshing candor that leads to high self-esteem, authentic living, & advocacy for anyone unable or not ready to use their voice.

As a deep-conversationalist, spiritual empath, wife, and mother/care-taker of eleven kiddos (and counting) my wish is to spread empathy, rawness, authenticity, and good vibes to as many humans as I possibly can all around the world.

I hope to leave you feeling like you’ve just had a cold beer + refreshing convo with a lifelong friend. Sometimes, we get deep around here and discuss politics, conspiracy theories (truths), trauma, recovery, spirituality etc. and other times we just kick back, play music trivia or Power-Hour, and enjoy each others company.

My goal is to create an environment where we all feel welcome and heard at our most authentic selves. That said, I appreciate you being here. I am so grateful that we crossed paths…after all, its no coincidence.

🤟🏻 Rach

Commonly Asked Questions

What does The Unclothed mean?

It’s a metaphor. I was raised by a journalist so I tend to be quite punny, metaphors are my jam, and more often than not I speak in rhyme or analogy.

The Unclothed was born in 2018 but was known by thousands as Broken Together. While my second-born daughter was fighting for her life in 2018, I documented my journey and perspective LIVE on Facebook. Through that, I connected with thousands of people from all around the world who shared similar stories, heartbreaks, traumas, etc. and Broken Together was the “town square” for that.

However, like me, my perspectives, my morals, and my lifestyle, this space evolved. And that’s when Broken Together became The Unclothed.

This space has since grown into a full-blown digital media brand that houses all things authenticity, love, light, truth, and transparency. Inspired by the quote “we are all born baked and the rest is just drag” my wish is that you will hangout, vibe with us, and start living your life “unclothed.”

Do you have any other socials?

Truth Social, this, and TikTok. I left Instagram in 2020 when I realized how corrupt Zuckerturd was. Interfering with an election, despite the “team,” is not okay and should not be tolerated by anyone. That said, ditching FB and IG was an easy change-up for me. Now I maintain content only on this website (which I own) and The Unclothed 1.0 and 2.0 on TikTok.

How long have you been awake?

Since June 2020. It all started with a friend recommending the Filthy Rich documentary. Immediately after watching that, I stumbled and fell down the Wayfair rabbit hole. From there, I was led to Fall of Cabal and Out of Shadows and since then- my life has never been the same. Ask me 5 or 6 years ago how I felt about people who thought the Earth was flat and you would have received an insanely wild response compared to now.

What’s your background?

I was born and raised in Ohio. I bounced around from northern Ohio to mid-state in my younger years. Lived in Japan for about a year when I was 11/12 while dad served at Yokota AFB and worked as the editor of the Stars and Stripes newspaper in Tokyo. I graduated high-school in 2006 at 17-years-old and left that small, gossipy, shit-town as fast as I could.

From there I studied marketing, advertising, and stress-management at Ohio University where I obtained 212 out of the 192 credits needed to graduate. (Who would have never thought that being indecisive about a major would actually be more beneficial to me in my later years!?)

While I was accepted into the Fine Arts program for Graphic Design, I also studied early-childhood- education as well as special-education.

In 2008, I paused my higher-education to serve my country in the worlds greatest Air Force. I served as a Command Post Operator where I proudly maintained a top-secret security clearance from 08-14. (Again, holy foreshadowing!)

After college, I went on to basically run an entire real estate team. From marketing and advertising to event planning, to basic executive assistant duties to showing properties, negotiating contracts, and studying the newest laws- I did it all.

That’s when I realized that being someone’s bitch wasn’t for me. If this douche is going to make the big bucks yet everything he does and is is because of me, my ideas, and my effort… then why not do it myself?

So I did. I went on to work for myself as an independent Realtor for many years. Then I got bored and decided to take on another job where I credentialed physicians at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. I was personally responsible for making sure 260+ physicians were legally allowed to practice medicine. Boy did I learn a lot about hospitals AND MDs. (Also foreshadowing).

When politics got the best of that institution, I walked away and never, ever, ever looked backed.

From it all. Not just credentialing physicians but from real estate. The hustle & bustle. The happy hours. The shitty humans who were in the industry. I left the city.

That’s when my husband and I uprooted our family and settled for a peaceful, minimalist life by the beach. Four years later, we are so proud of the sacrifices made so we could truly live out our dream… we have finally found our home and we did it together.

Today, I freelance all of my creatives. From ghost-writing for small-businesses to web-design to lifestyle photography, content-creating, and consulting… I do it all.

The beauty in this lifestyle is that my livelihood is like a bunch of water spigots attached to an endless supply of water. At any point, I can turn on the faucets at whatever speed/pressure I choose. The BEST part, though, is no one can stop me and/or ever take shit away from me.

That being said, I haven’t even touched on my other job that I worked while pursuing all of the above. Wait til I tell ya about the eleven beautiful kiddos I have had the privilege to love and care for.

Looks like I’ll have to save that for a rainy day, though.
