The Government Lied to You: You Are Abusing Your Child and Don’t Even Realize It
I had a few people ask so here we go:
“Do you have any information on the dangers of kids being masked?”
Yes. I do.
But before we jump into numbers and statistics and case-studies that will break your damn heart, I want you to hear/understand my tone within this message.
Just this morning, I asked a very dear friend of mine why she willingly masks her children despite knowing that the rule/mandate isn’t a law. Her answer was so raw and heartfelt that I couldn’t help but cry.
The reason she ultimately gave me was: I mask my kids out of fear.
Now, i get it. Fear can be debilitating.
Let me tell you a little bit about my experience with fear when it comes to being a parent so you can understand how and why I am able to empathize with you.
When my daughter was fighting for her life at UNC Children’s, I had to sign forms nearly every day that gave another human permission to cut-open my baby’s neck, prick her, bruise her, test her, pound on her etc. Those papers also stated that I understood and willingly chose to take the risks associated with each procedure if I chose to sign.
Sometimes, those risks were worth it (for example: choosing to put her on ECMO despite it being an extremely invasive procedure). Sometimes, the risk wasn’t worth it and you better believe I put my foot down when needed.
But, as her Mother and advocate, I always made sure to at least weigh every risk at hand, every time. I researched. I got second opinions. I reached out to other parents who had previously been in my situation.
I read, read, and then read some more. Yes, I trusted those physicians and nurses as much as I could but I knew at the end of the day I was the only person responsible for advocating for my daughter.
Me.
I did my due diligence which is why I am at peace with my daughter’s passing. I know that every decision I made was truly educated. I know that I did everything I could- every single day- to fight for her life as hard as she was.

Imagine you and I are sitting on my deck having a cocktail while our kids play. You turn your back for two-seconds and your four-year-old comes running up to take a giant chug of your Vodka Lemonade.
Because I love you and your child and saw that there was an opportunity for immediate danger, I swat that straw out of his mouth/hand.
Now, my question is, would you thank me or would you call me a dumb-fuck because Vodka is safe for children to consume?
Depending on your answer- you may not like it here. But know that no matter what you decide: I stand firm in my belief that what I did was the right thing.
